Memphis bound, or am I?

Yesterday was basically a chill travel day. We slept in deliciously late and had breakfast at the B&B at 11am. We took our time getting to Kansas City, stopping in Lawrence for coffee.

We arrived at MCI with lots of time to spare, I was cleared early for my Memphis flight and all looked good for Chris's Minneapolis flight. All was going really well...

Until the MCI ground crew forgot to watch the fuel gauge and over fueled the plane. :-/ They were over weight and had to pull me off. I know it's part if the game, but it's really frustrating to not make it due to stupidity.

The upside, Chris hadn't left yet so he stayed behind and we got to spend an extra night together. Now I'm on the 6am flight in first class on my way to Memphis to start part two of my state hopping extravaganza.
