Woonsocket, RI

Amazing church painted entirely in frescoes in 1940's. Colors are crazy because this were only paints available during the wars. This is part of ceiling, most of the faces are those of actual partitioners of the church which was fun to see. Our tour guide was super nice and very informative, definitely a great little pitt stop.

We actually spent the night in this small town last night at a B&B. We arrived quite late but the owner was still chipper, the room was great and breakfast was interesting.

I wouldn't mind returning to Rhode Island to visit the costal part of the state but overall, it's safe to check this one off the list.
