I am happy in my tummy.
Adrian cooked. Enough said.
We started with asparagus wrapped in procutto with pepper crackers and prune jam.
Then on to pasta with cream sauce stuffed with zucchini, peppers, garlic, onion, eggplant and scamorza cheese. Amazing.
We finished we a bunch of ridiculousness. Spicy pepper chocolate mousse layered with strawberries over homemade port-soaked ladyfingers topped with ammoretti and nuts as well as melted chocolate and chocolate chips. Accompanied by homemade whipped cream, ammoretti cookies, strawberry and fresh mint. Like I said, ridiculous.
I asked Adrian to marry me somewhere between the pasta and dessert but he reminded me of the challenges to that proposal so then I threatened to kill him and he went off to layer the dessert. :)
