Art Time

We spent quite a bit if time in the American Art Museum. Specifically in the Norman Rockwell exhibit which was all on loan from the collections of Stephen Spielberg and George Lucas - that was quite cool.

Another cool exhibit was called Electronic Superhighway. Sara got video to share later and when we have a real keyboard we can tell you more about it but for now you can see Daisy's picture.

Update: In the middle of each neon state are an array of tv screens in all sizes. All screens in each state simultaneously display the same video feed. The feed is quick changing, seemingly random almost like the channel is constantly changing. The feed relates to the state it's in. Hawaii has volcanoes, pearl harbor, dancing etc; South Dakota had buffalo, my rushmore and cowboys etc. Some had only one thing playing like Missouri had the movie Meet me in St Louis and Kansas has the Wizard of OZ. Idaho had only potatoes.

It was a very interesting, well done and thought provoking exhibit. Hope the video turn out and does it justice!
