Our Day in Prague

Today we went to Prague Castle, I was psyched to see a bonafide
castle. I got hosed! It was just a mini-city that happened to have a
wall around it. No luxurious rooms no rampart for Rupunzel, no moat to
swim across. It did have an aMAZing cathedral which almost made up for
the sad castle. We had to wait in a surprisingly long pushy line to go
inside that made the Vatican look organized. Inside there were lots of
quirky niches and displays. Quite beautiful.

We tried to see another castle, it was even sadder so we gave up on
that idea.

We made it up the "Funicar" (train on a hill) to Petron Hill for a
great view of the city.

Then we did some shopping on the Charles Bridge before taking a
predinner nap. Well the boys napped, Mom and I did some very
interesting people watching from our apartment balcony. We watched an
old couple eat what looked like a half gallon of ice cream and a group
eat a huge platter of delectible things, sadly they must have been
pick pocketed when we looked away:( The food looked so good we went
down and had it for dinner ourselves. It was yummy.

Then we packed up and got some rest so we could rise early. We are now
at the train station waiting for our train to Munich.
