Santa Prassede

A church very close to Santa Maria Maggiore. Carmel found it in a guide book that said this church had a ton of mosaics. They were right...

They weren't as realistic as those at say St. Peter's but they were amazing, they almost looked pixelated.

    At the risk of sounding a bit sacrilegious...the angels on this ceiling look a little bit high (no pun intended). But of course it is all wonderful. I hope to make it there someday!
