And we're off!

We made it to JFK and the first leg of our three part journey this weekend is behind us. We're enjoying the freedom to stretch and move while we can as we'll soon spend 8-9 hours in our coach class seats. We should have about three hours in Fiumicino before our we board our final flight for the weekend, a small plane bound for Barcelona!

We'll arrive at our Air BnB around 2pm local time / 8am EST if all goes well. Our day won't end there though, oh no. The trick to adjusting is to power through and get your internal clock on local time so we'll drop our bags and be off to see the sites! The next time our heads hit a pillow it will be 10pm / 4pm EST on Sunday.

The last time we traveled internationally that first day was a doozie and a true test of our then fledgling relationship, we're ready this time though :) Wish us luck!
