Typical day in Spain...

Today was a fabulous relaxing taste of Seville and a great wrap up to our stay here.

We started the day at 2pm with a picnic in the spot that Megan and I napped I one year ago. We at Dani's fresh home made Solmorejo and Potato Tortillas....they are still the best I've had by far! Then we walked around Plaza de Espana which was used for one of the newer Star Wars movies but its also just really pretty and visually interesting.

The plan was for Jeremy and I to see the cathedral next but, as is typical in Spain, it had wonky hours today due to a religious event tonight so we couldn't get in :( but luckily I've seen it before and with my back still sore I couldn't have walked and looked up for long anyhow. So Jeremy will have to settle for pictures from my last visit for now. Instead we had beers, shopped and had Ice cream.

After siestas (yep, naps) we went back out to visit some of their favorite tapas places. OK Tapas had some sushi type dishes that, while not traditional, were yummy! The second place had a bit of a wait but the croquetas for me and chorizo for Jeremy were worth it.

The plan was to find Flamenco but after lots of hopping around Triana we realized it was just not meant to be and settled for live Guitar and local amateurs at The Worst Bar Ever (as accurately described by Drunk Jeremy earlier).

The cool thing about Spain, and most European countries for that matter, is that while plans change constantly the company is always awesome - especially when you're with a life long best friend :)

Now we're Dublin bound again....starting to think about work on Monday...well, trying not to think about it... :)
