We left the mud hole about 6:30 this morning and made our way over to
Padre Island Yacht Club (PIYC) by about 3:30 today. We had another
great sail with the wind steady at about 10 knots and at our back. The
weather was perfect. PIYC welcomed us with open arms and even sent
some power boats out to help some of the smaller boats in the fleet
into the enterance of the harbor. Not only did they have hot showers
and air conditioning waiting for us, they even gave us a ride into
town to restock on ice and other essencials. As you can see in the
pictures, Burt (the Alligator) is relaxing at sunset with all the
boats at the dock and on the shore. The sunbird in all it's glory
(notice the jolly roger and the bra flying from the shroud) We'll keep
you updated tomorrow night!
