variety, especially among the jewelry artists.
Today we relaxed and baked by the pool. I got out and laid in the sun
and watched the water evaporate from my skin in less than 10 minutes.
It was a bit sureal to be floating around the resort's lazy river and
get glimpses of the mountains through the building and palm trees.
The art museum is free for a few hours on Thursdays so we stopped by.
We met Aaron, a docent who volunteered to give us a tour of the modern
archtitcture in Palm Springs. But when we tried to contact him later
to set up a time he wussed out :(
We had California Pizza Kitchen for dinner... In case you're wondering
it tastes the same when you eat it IN California.
The breeze combined with the warm 70 degrees made the eclectic art
festival really enjoyable. I bought a necklace pendant made of shell
with an abstract sunset on it. The girls all got something at a $16-
Store.
Overall it was a very pleasant, chill relaxing day. It's hard to
believe we still have five full days left.
