Day 2 - the Louvre!!!

I need a computer keyboard to explain the feeling of space and beauty here. Below is the famous pyramid entry from which we followed Laura's amazing tour. Below that are just a few famous pieces of art that she described to us all the way from Florida:

Below is the Mona Lisa. She is indead tiny and stored in a very hot room behind glass. In contrast, there is a massive painting on the wall directly behind you as you look at the Mona Lisa.

Here is the Venus DeMilo. The famous armless carving of a half clothed woman with a surprisingly tiny head. Many think it to be a mask used by the model to hide her identity after the carving was released.

Fabio and Adrian standing in a spot that would make Laura, our tour guide, very, very jealous! The painting behind them is her favorite - "The Coronation of Napoleon" (it is EXTREAMLY detailed)

Looking upward from the subterranean entryway through the glass pyramid at the outside of the main fascad of the Louvre.
